July saw the launch of a new Echo campaign to introduce patients to an innovative way of ordering and keeping up with their prescriptions, via 6-sheet posters and leaflets in various hospitals.
Echo is a free service (accessed via an app) that not only delivers medicine to a patient’s door, but also sends useful reminders on when and how to take prescribed medication. Echo has been worked with GP practices to develop a hassle-free, patient-led service for those who get repeat prescriptions.
