Pulse is pleased to be working with Public Health Wales to communicate that from today all NHS hospital grounds in Wales will be smoke free. The campaign will run in all of our Welsh sites for a month and will utilise our most impactful formats, 6-sheets and 4-sheets.

Speaking about the new legislation, Minister for Mental Health and wellbeing, Eluned Morgan, said:

“We are immensely proud to have brought into force this law today making hospital grounds, school grounds, playgrounds and outdoor care settings for children smoke-free in Wales. The law will not only help smokers quit, but it will also discourage others from starting smoking in the first place”.

Given that nowhere witnesses the harmful impact of smoking more than hospitals – and, of course, that the legislation directly affects them – communicating the message via posters in hospitals is the perfect choice.
