We love running antenatal campaigns, helping brands reach new parents at what is, for many, a really exciting time. However, sadly, that isn’t always the case, and for some the ‘normal’ challenges can be overwhelming, leading to depression and anxiety. And, importantly, as this campaign recognises, it can be just as difficult for new fathers as new mothers.
PATH is a European cross-border initiative involving thirteen partners from the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands enabling parents, the wider family, employers and healthcare professionals to find support and information to help the parenting journey. It’s hoped that by tackling the stigma that surrounds mental health in general, and perinatal depression specifically, more expectant and new mums and dads will seek the help they may need.
We’re delighted to be able to promote this vital project right where it’s most relevant – in antenatal and maternity departments within NHS hospitals.
