Now that autumn is here and back-to-school season is upon us, many families across the UK are turning their attention to one of the most important decisions of the year, choosing the right school for their child. From open days to application deadlines, for many, it can be a key decision-making time.
At Pulse, we’re proud to play a part in this journey. We work with independent schools throughout the UK to help ensure parents and carers have the information they need, right when they need it most.
Making school information accessible
We understand that raising awareness about open days and admissions processes, while shining a light on what makes schools unique, can be a challenge. Pulse helps schools to:
- Promote open days to families within their community.
- Highlight application deadlines and processes.
- Build awareness of the values, ethos, and opportunities that set them apart.
Why the hospital setting?
When parents are making decisions about their child’s future, trust and accessibility are key. Pulse places information at the heart of the community in a reliable space where families often attend appointments or visit relatives.
Our recent YouGov survey* asked people their thoughts on community messages being shared in hospitals, and 85% thought it was a good idea. A common theme was that people have time on their hands to engage with adverts, and one response summed up perfectly, saying that campaigns are “more likely to be viewed than street advertising. In the street, people are usually distracted by shopping, traffic, etc. In hospitals, people are often waiting around with nothing to do, and they are more likely to notice and read”.
