2020 has had a bright start for Pulse, as our first new partnership of the year went live just last week. We are incredibly pleased to be working with Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, and to be increasing our presence in Yorkshire, a preferred region for many advertisers.
The Trust has two main hospital sites, in Huddersfield (Huddersfield Royal Infirmary) and Halifax (Calderdale Royal Hospital), as well as a number of community sites in the surrounding area. It provides a range of services including urgent and emergency care; medical; surgical; maternity; gynaecology; critical care; children’s and young people’s services; end of life care and outpatient and diagnostic imaging services.
In 2018/19, they cared for more than 119,000 men, women and children as inpatients (stayed at least one night) or day cases.
There were also more than 440,000 outpatient attendances; 150,000 accident and emergency attendances and 5000 babies delivered. There were some 260,000 adult services contacts by the community teams as well as 283,000 contacts with their therapy services.
